Zips Candy Kiss – “Kiss”

One of the very first foals born live on the web, Kiss was a 1999 dappled bay mare by Zip Me Impressive and out of Candy Appeal. Though she lost her eye at a few weeks of age Kiss recovered well after surgery and thrived at her new home in Michigan. Her owners described Kiss as a horse with an “extremely regal look and an awesome lope. She had a very intelligent, out there, look-at-me personality but wore her heart on her shoulders.”

Kiss’s sire is 2003 World’s Best Appaloosa Zip Me Impressive, who holds 50 Top Ten World, National and Year End Titles, three Bronze Medallions and 14 ROMs. Zip Me Impressive is a two time Reserve World World Champion, two time Canadian National Champion and is an ApHC Champion, ApHC Versatility Champion and is the youngest ever ApHC Supreme Champion.

Zip Me Impressive’s pedigree includes Zippo Jack Bar (AQHA Champion Sire, ROM Sire, World Champion Sire, Superior Performance Sire); Zippo Pine Bar (AQHA Champion, High Point Western Riding Horse); Impressive (World Champion Aged Stallion); Mr. Impressive (AQHA Stallion, Superior Halter Horse) and Sundown bloodlines. Zip Me Impressive is HYPP -/-. Kiss is Zippy’s first foal.

Kiss’s dam is Candy Appeal, a 1988 mare with beautiful conformation and a gentle, trusting personality. She is a chestnut with brown and white spots over hips. Line bred from Pah’s Appeal to produce great temperament and strong performance. She is a granddaughter of Chic Appeal, a World Champion Reining Horse. Candy Appeal is professionally trained in Western Pleasure.

Sadly, Kiss passed away in 2006.
